Deck overview

This deck is a mono-white Angel tribal and lifegain aggressive build commanded by Lyra, Archangel of Dawn. The primary strategy focuses on deploying low-cost Angels and lifegain enablers in the early turns, casting the commander on Turn 3 or 4, and rapidly growing the entire airborne army whenever life is gained. By Turn 5, the deck presents an overwhelming evasive board that forces opponents to find immediate sweepers. Life total quickly rises to activate powerful threshold cards such as Righteous Valkyrie, Serra Ascendant, and Caduceus, Staff of Hermes. Spot removal is highly efficient with staples like Swords to Plowshares and Path to Exile, while spells like Flawless Maneuver and Flare of Fortitude protect the board from destruction. The deck reliably closes out games through combat damage by Turn 7.
