Format: Commander

Commander: King of the Oathbreakers

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

King of the Oathbreakers commands a white-black Spirit-token deck: targeted spells and mass phasing repeatedly create 1/1 flying Spirits, while Anointed Procession, Kaya, Geist Hunter, and Ojer Taq amplify every token event. The primary kill is a huge Moonshaker Cavalry or Akroma's Will swing; Mirkwood Bats and Elas il-Kor add a life-loss subtheme. King's role is a reusable protection engine and token payoff, though the deck does not hinge on him. There is no true hidden commander; Thalisse, Reverent Medium serves as the end-step token engine. The deck is resilient through several mass phase-out spells that both save the board and trigger King, but it has no degenerate combo and wins through combat.
