Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Esper spellslinger deck uses Y'shtola, Night's Blessed as a central drain engine and card advantage piece. The main plan resolves noncreature spells costing three or more mana to trigger Y'shtola's group burn, steadily padding your life total and drawing cards whenever four life is lost in a turn. Secondary engines like Papalymo Totolymo, Hermes, and G'raha Tia convert every cast into extra burn or wide boards. The deck closes games through compound drain effects, large unblockable swings via Hraesvelgr, massive token swarms boosted by Champions from Beyond, or a lethal Exsanguinate powered by mana engines like Relic of Legends.
