Deck overview

This is a mono-green Hydra tribal stompy deck helmed by Gargos, Vicious Watcher. The plan is straightforward: ramp aggressively, cast Gargos to discount every Hydra by {4}, then deploy a stream of enormous, counter-snowballing creatures and win through combat. Gargos's fight trigger turns every fight spell (Prizefight, Ram Through, Bite Down, Prey Upon) into a double-removal effect, giving the deck a surprisingly robust removal suite for mono-green. Primary win conditions are combat damage from snowballing Hydras (Kalonian Hydra, Primordial Hydra), Hydra Omnivore's table-wide damage, Hydra Broodmaster's token army, and Apex Devastator's cascade value. The deck has no infinite combos and no tutors - it wins by overwhelming the table with sheer power and counter growth.
