Phyrexian Equipment (Ekthi) by mmmarm

Format: Commander

Commander: Ekthi, Contaminator Priest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-white Equipment/Token deck is helmed by Ekthi, Contaminator Priest, who grants living weapon to every Equipment, turning each one into a token generator. The primary game plan is to deploy Ekthi early, chain Equipment to create a board of Phyrexian Germ tokens, suit them up with powerful Equipment, and overwhelm opponents through combat damage. The deck leverages token doublers like Exalted Sunborn and Caretaker's Talent, card draw from Equipment entering (Sram, Senior Edificer, Puresteel Paladin), and recursion via Sun Titan and Sevinne's Reclamation. A secondary "hidden commander" package with Cloud, Midgar Mercenary can tutor Equipment and double triggers, but the core strategy remains combat-oriented with a dense Equipment suite and token synergies.
