Deck overview

This five-color Commander deck is led by partner commanders Donatello, the Brains and Leonardo, the Balance, creating a synergistic engine centered on token generation and +1/+1 counter accumulation. Donatello augments any token generation by adding Mutagen tokens, which immediately triggers Leonardo's ability to distribute +1/+1 counters across your entire creature base. The deck leverages this synergy to build massive, wide boards capable of punching through defenses with trample, menace, and lifelink using Leonardo's five-color activated ability or game-ending amplifiers like Raphael, the Muscle and Leatherhead, Iron Gator. In addition to fair combat pressure, the deck contains a lethal two-card infinite combo between Casey Jones, Back Alley Brute and The Red Terror, which can close games on the spot through infinite ping damage. Supported by protective pieces like Grand Abolisher and flexible tutors, the deck excels as an explosive midrange beatdown strategy with sudden combo closing capability.
