Deck overview

This Azorius control and Voltron deck uses Partner commanders Rhoda, Geist Avenger and Timin, Youthful Geist to lock down opposing boards while turning enemy stasis into lethal commander damage. Rhoda grows larger whenever opposing creatures are tapped outside of declaring attacks, while Timin taps down problematic blockers and attackers every combat step. The primary win condition is commander damage delivered by an enormous, unblockable Rhoda bolstered by cards like Flaming Fist, Sword Coast Sailor, and Rogue's Passage. Secondary paths close out games via mass burn from Mjolnir, Storm Hammer, wide creature tokens from Hylda of the Icy Crown, or continuous creature locks through Opposition.
