Mycotyrant by user3077467

Format: Commander

Commander: The Mycotyrant

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

The Mycotyrant leads a Golgari graveyard and token swarm deck. The primary game plan fills the graveyard with permanent cards via dredge, self-mill, and sacrifice outlets to trigger descend. Each descended permanent generates Fungus creature tokens at the end step, rapidly growing The Mycotyrant into a massive trample threat. The deck converts this wide token board and deep graveyard into lethal finishes through explosive overrun effects like Return of the Wildspeaker, direct life-drain burst via Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord or Syr Konrad, the Grim, and mass Saproling buffs from Tendershoot Dryad.
