Perfection In Poison by DexCrimson

Format: Commander

Commander: Ixhel, Scion of Atraxa

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Phyrexian poison/proliferate deck helmed by Ixhel, Scion of Atraxa. The primary game plan is to spread poison counters across all opponents using a dense suite of toxic and infect creatures, then accelerate the clock with proliferate effects. Ixhel provides sustained card advantage once opponents have three or more poison counters, letting you play exiled cards and spend mana as though it were any color. The deck wins through incremental poison damage, with no infinite combos. Secondary threats like Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon and Tyrranax Rex can deliver burst poison, while proliferate engines such as Evolution Sage and Contaminant Grafter compound the pressure each turn. The deck is a midrange value grinder that aims to outlast opponents through removal, attack deterrents, and recursive value.
