Deck overview

This is a proactive mono-red storm deck helmed by Birgi, God of Storytelling (front face only; Harnfel, Horn of Bounty is not part of the plan). The core engine is Birgi's "cast a spell, add {R}" trigger, which turns every ritual, cantrip, and wheel into net-positive mana and lets the deck chain deep into storm turns. Primary wins are classic red storm finishes-Grapeshot, Aetherflux Reservoir, and Walking Ballista fed by infinite or near-infinite mana-backed by compact combo lines through Underworld Breach, Grinning Ignus, and Dualcaster Mage + Twinflame. Dense fast mana, rituals, loot/wheels, and escape/flashback recursion keep the tank full. Copy and redirection spells (Deflecting Swat, Reverberate, Flare of Duplication, Dualcaster Mage) double as protection, removal, and storm multipliers. The deck plays at a high tempo: accelerate Birgi, empty the hand into the graveyard and battlefield, then convert a single untap into a table kill.
