Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Boros Equipment and Voltron strategy led by Lightning, Army of One. Lightning provides built-in first strike, trample, and lifelink, alongside a potent Stagger trigger that doubles all damage dealt to an opponent until your next turn. The deck leverages heavy Equipment tutoring to deploy game-ending weapons like Sword of Feast and Famine, The Reaver Cleaver, and Genji Glove, rapidly eliminating opponents through accelerated commander damage and extra-combat steps. Its primary win condition pairs Sword of Feast and Famine with Aggravated Assault to generate infinite combat phases, killing the entire table in a single turn. Backing this aggressive engine is an exceptional suite of protective spells, including Teferi's Protection, Flawless Maneuver, and Mithril Coat, easily retrieved via Sunforger. While light on board wipes and stax, the deck achieves high consistency and resilience through redundant equipment enablers and swift recovery lines.
