The Great Goblin by BobJob42

Format: Commander

Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Goblin tribal deck helmed by The Great Goblin, built around a wide swarm of Goblin tokens and an amass/Army subtheme that feeds the commander's two engines: a 2-damage ping every time you put counters on a Goblin, Orc, or Army, and impulse draw whenever one of them dies. The primary path to victory is exponential token generation via Krenko, Mob Boss and Squee, Dubious Monarch, supercharged by Goblin Warchief's cost reduction and haste, then closed out with extra combat spells like Relentless Assault, Fury of the Horde, and Seize the Day. Counter-doublers like Mauhur, Uruk-hai Captain and Metallic Mimic turn the commander's ping into a repeatable reach engine, while Goblin Bombardment and Skirk Prospector convert the swarm into direct damage and explosive mana. Rituals (Dark Ritual, Culling the Weak) give the deck burst potential.
