Deck overview

This Simic deck commands The Pride of Hull Clade, leveraging an army of high-toughness defenders to exploit toughness-matters mechanics. In the opening turns, the deck rapidly establishes a wall perimeter with creatures like Overgrown Battlement, Wall of Blossoms, and Charix, the Raging Isle. This accumulated toughness reduces the commander's casting cost to a single green mana as early as Turn 4. Once deployed, The Pride of Hull Clade activates its ability to grant itself or allied behemoths the power to attack and draw cards equal to their massive toughness upon connecting. This single combat trigger floods the hand with 15 or more cards, finding decisive finishers like Tower Defense, Assault Formation, and Bedrock Tortoise. The deck translates its defensive bulwark into an explosive offensive overrun, attacking for lethal combat damage based on toughness while generating abundant mana with Arbor Adherent and Axebane Guardian to close out the game across two subsequent turn cycles.
