Marchesa, the Black Rose by Capleogem

Format: Commander

Commander: Marchesa, the Black Rose

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis aristocrats value deck helmed by Marchesa, the Black Rose. The primary game plan revolves around putting +1/+1 counters on creatures (via dethrone attacks, Unspeakable Symbol, Feast on the Fallen, and Anduril, Narsil Reforged), then sacrificing them for card advantage, treasure, or direct drain while Marchesa returns them at the next end step. The deck leverages incremental drain from Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, and Syr Konrad, the Grim to wear down three opponents, eventually closing the game through Bolas's Citadel or a massive Flayer of the Hatebound trigger. It has no deterministic infinite combos but generates overwhelming recursion and card advantage through loops of sacrifice and reanimation.
