Format: Commander

Commander: The Reaper, King No More

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Jund -1/-1 counters deck. Primary plan is to spread -1/-1 counters with creatures and enchantments, turn all damage into wither, and use Maha to make every counter lethal. The commander, The Reaper, King No More, is a repeatable theft/recursion engine that returns creatures that die with counters, but none of the main combos needs it. Secondary paths win through attrition: monarch draw from Grave Venerations, reanimation with Puppeteer Clique/Aberrant Return, and combat from Maha. The hidden commander is Maha, Its Feathers Night, because the whole counter package is tuned around base toughness 1. The deck goldfishes by assembling Hapatra, Blowfly Infestation, and Flourishing Defenses, then converting infinite death triggers with Grave Venerations or Scorpion God.
