Deck overview

This deck is a focused Jeskai Hero typal aggro strategy commanded by Captain America, Team Leader. It leverages Captain America's triggered ability to grant every entering Hero an immediate +1/+1 counter, vigilance, and haste. This eliminates summoning sickness downtime and enables the deck to begin attacking for substantial chip damage and value generation as early as Turn 4. The deck transitions into a lethal threat by Turn 5 through damage multipliers like War Machine, Avenging Arsenal, unblockable enablers like Herald of Secret Streams, or asymmetric board clearing via Raise the Palisade and Damning Verdict. While it relies on creature combat and takes two full response cycles to eliminate a four-player pod, it mitigates vulnerability with a comprehensive suite of defensive tools such as Flawless Maneuver, Boros Charm, and Ripples of Potential to maintain its aggressive momentum through opposing sweepers.
