Deck overview

This deck is an Esper control strategy led by Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. The primary game plan focuses on deploying early artifact ramp, controlling the top of the library with cards like Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Doom Whisperer, and using Yennett's attack trigger to cheat massive odd-cost spells into play without paying their mana costs. High-impact bombs such as Void Winnower, Toxrill, the Corrosive, and Breach the Multiverse establish heavy board control and asymmetric locks that disrupt opposing game plans. The deck also includes unique political and disruptive tools such as Perplexing Chimera, Shared Fate, and Fatespinner to create tactical friction. Victory is achieved through overwhelming combat damage from large creatures or via an alternate win condition in Approach of the Second Sun.
