Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck accelerates into under-costed, high-power beaters to cast Ghalta, Primal Hunger from the command zone as early as Turn 4 for just two green mana. Built around raw power and combat pressure, the deck pairs efficient early ramp like Elvish Mystic and Rampant Growth with massive stat sticks like Pugnacious Hammerskull and Wayward Swordtooth. Once Ghalta hits the battlefield, card draw engines including Garruk's Uprising, Rishkar's Expertise, and Thickest in the Thicket replenish the hand by converting board power into card advantage. Combat multipliers such as Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth transform large boards into lethal alpha strikes. While the deck possesses resilient backup threats like Elder Gargaroth and Carnage Tyrant, its primary vulnerability lies in its reliance on sorcery-speed combat and susceptibility to sweepers, requiring careful timing and selective use of protection spells like Tamiyo's Safekeeping and Asceticism to secure victory across multiple combat cycles.
