New Untitled Deck by user3894986

Format: Commander

Commander: Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

An aggressive Golgari -1/-1 counter deck built to put Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons on the battlefield early and convert every counter-placing effect into Snake tokens. The primary plan is a wide deathtouch swarm that becomes unblockable or lethal through Champion of Lambholt, Maha, Fecund Greenshell, and Rhonas's Monument. Secondary paths are aristocrat drain with Blood Artist, Ghoulcaller Gisa, and Dictate of Erebos, plus a reanimator package around Reanimate, Restart Sequence, and Liliana. Poison/infect from Bloodroot Apothecary, Glistening Oil, and Phyrexian Juggernaut is a situational alt. The commander is the main engine, so protecting her and sequencing counter sources after she resolves is critical. There is no hidden commander; Liliana, Heretical Healer // Defiant Necromancer supports recursion.
