Cousin Nazgy by Buzzol

Format: Commander

Commander: Lord of the Nazgûl

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Dimir instant/sorcery-matters control-combat deck. Lord of Nazgul turns every cheap instant and sorcery into a 3/3 Wraith, and once nine Wraiths are on the battlefield they become 9/9, enabling a one-shot alpha strike. The deck uses a dense cantrip suite, counterspells, and removal to reach that critical mass while disrupting opponents. A secondary path uses Bolas's Citadel and rituals to power a large Torment of Hailfire, and reanimation spells can cheat Hoarding Broodlord to tutor a finisher. There is no true infinite combo, so the deck wins through commander-generated combat damage or a mana-sink X-spell.
