Deck overview

Rocco, Street Chef leads a Naya value deck that turns cards played from exile into Food and +1/+1 counters. The deck uses cheap mana creatures, signets, and land-search spells to cast Rocco, Street Chef around turn 4, then converts exile access into tokens through Academy Manufactor, Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald, and Pia Nalaar, Consul of Revival. Food and creature tokens support Baylen, the Haymaker, Peregrin Took, Caretaker's Talent, and counter payoffs such as Beastmaster Ascension. Its strongest ordinary threat is a wide board that becomes large enough to demand a board wipe around turn 7. The list also contains the Rosie Cotton of South Lane and Scurry Oak infinite token-and-counter loop, but it needs a third damage payoff and has no reliable way to assemble all pieces. Interaction is broad against permanents but lacks counterspell coverage and proactive denial. The deck is resilient enough for casual or mid-power tables, but its combat finish is slow and exposed.
