Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Vehicle and Pirate combat deck led by Edward Kenway. Its primary game plan uses low-cost Pirates and utility artifacts in the early turns to set up aggressive board states. On Turn 4, deploying Edward Kenway immediately turns tapped attackers and crewed Vehicles into a large stockpile of Treasure tokens at your end step. Once operational on Turn 5, combat damage from evasive Vehicles like Thunderhawk Gunship, Adrestia, and Deluxe Dragster exiles spells from opponents' libraries, fueling card advantage alongside Breeches, Brazen Plunderer and Don Andres, the Renegade. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through wide evasive combat damage, scaling artifact power from Brotherhood Vertibird, and repeated life-drain triggers from Nadier's Nightblade as Treasures are cracked. While resilient against sorcery creature wipes thanks to uncrewed Vehicles, the deck remains vulnerable to artifact removal and relies on combat connections.
