Commander: Winota, Joiner of Forces

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Boros Stax-Aggro deck helmed by Winota, Joiner of Forces. The core strategy is to deploy cheap non-Human creatures (or token generators) to attack, triggering Winota's ability to cheat powerful Human creatures directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking with indestructible. The deck simultaneously lays down a dense stax package - Drannith Magistrate, Archon of Emeria, Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, Ethersworn Canonist - to lock opponents out of the game while you build a board of indestructible Humans. Primary win conditions include combat damage amplified by Angrath's Marauders, Blade Historian, and extra combat steps from Combat Celebrant or the Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Zealous Conscripts infinite loop. The deck is explosive, disruptive, and can win from a single opportune attack.
