Aesi v2 by user2972059

Format: Commander

Commander: Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait is a Simic landfall engine that turns every extra land drop into extra cards. The deck ramps through early mana dorks and land-search spells, then uses Aesi (and backups Tatyova, Dryad, Druid Class) to chain multiple land drops per turn. The primary finish is an infinite landfall/draw loop involving a land-putter, Retreat to Coralhelm, and Oboro or a bounce land, ending with Laboratory Maniac or Psychosis Crawler. Token production from Rampaging Baloths, Avenger of Zendikar, and Koma gives a secondary combat path. Counterspells and flexible removal protect the commander and the combo.
