Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aristocrats strategy led by Teysa Karlov. Its main game plan revolves around generating small creature tokens, sacrificing them through zero-mana sacrifice outlets, and draining opponents with blood artist effects. Teysa Karlov acts as a potent force multiplier by doubling all death triggers, which accelerates both card draw engines like Grim Haruspex and lethal drain pieces like Cruel Celebrant and Mirkwood Bats. The deck achieves reliable operational setup by Turn 4 and establishes critical pressure on Turn 5 by deploying asymmetric attrition engines like Grave Pact or massive life-drain payoffs. Opponents face extreme creature suppression and rapid life loss, leading to a finish on Turn 7 across two response cycles. While the deck possesses premier creature removal, high card velocity, and strong independence from its commander, it remains vulnerable to mass exile sweepers, graveyard hate, and noncreature combo strategies on the stack.
