Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Grixis control-combo build commanded by Kefka, Court Mage. It leverages an efficient mana curve of fast artifacts and rituals to accelerate its early development. In the midgame, Kefka generates substantial card advantage and forces symmetric hand disruption that breaks parity through Kefka's multi-draw trigger and graveyard synergies. The deck exerts severe board pressure using Archfiend of Ifnir to wipe opposing creatures and Dauthi Voidwalker to deny opposing graveyards. Its primary win condition is the compact, uncounterable combo of Niv-Mizzet, Parun enchanted with Curiosity or Ophidian Eye, which loops card draws into direct damage to eliminate all three opponents in a single turn. Backed by free counterspells, redirection effects, and secondary combos like Bloodchief Ascension with Mindcrank, the deck blends proactive threat generation with interactive resilience.
