Azula Perfection by user8359936

Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Fire Lord Azula is a combat-phase spell multiplier: she attacks, creates {R}{R}, and copies every instant or sorcery cast during that combat. The primary plan is to protect her, attack, and chain cheap spells into a mana-positive storm turn, closing with copied burn or an unblockable double-strike commander hit. Zuko, Exiled Prince is the hidden lieutenant, adding his own Firebending 3 and impulse drawing, while Etali can generate free spells to copy. The deck is a tempo spellslinger build that must reach the attack step before it can go off; its strength is the density of cheap interaction and cantrips, and its main risk is that the whole turn hinges on Azula attacking safely.
