Ultron the Annihilator (Mono-black Artifacts) by gfparadiso

Format: Commander

Commander: Ultron the Annihilator

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-black artifact-value deck helmed by Ultron the Annihilator grinds opponents down through repeated artifact death triggers. The commander's ETB/attack creates 2/2 Robot Villain tokens, and its passive drain punishes each artifact that hits any graveyard. The 99 leans heavily on Necron tribal synergies, mill-based recursion, and sacrifice outlets like Krark-Clan Ironworks to generate volume artifact deaths. Primary wins come from draining the table via Marionette Master, Psychomancer, and the commander itself over several turns; secondary beats through pumped artifact creature tokens (Age of Ultron, Skorpekh Lord). The deck is a value engine first, relying on recursion loops rather than a deterministic infinite combo, and its heavy artifact density makes it vulnerable to mass exile or artifact hate.
