Deck overview

This deck is a four-color polymorph control strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan accelerates mana on Turns 1 through 3 using dense 2-CMC artifacts while creating expendable creature tokens with cards like Skrelv's Hive and Staff of the Storyteller. On Turn 4, Jace enters the battlefield and uses his −3 loyalty ability to exile a token, revealing and deploying a massive threat directly from the library without paying its mana cost. The deck's threat pool features game-ending creatures such as Archon of Cruelty, Archfiend of Despair, and Serra's Emissary, which deliver severe attrition, protection, and airborne damage. Opponents face defensive friction through Jace's static combat tax and a suite of white-based removal and sweepers like Sunfall. The deck closes games around Turn 7 by chaining continuous polymorph activations, overwhelming the table through evasive combat power.
