Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck is commanded by Beorn the Fierce, focusing on explosive mana acceleration, high-power creature deployment, and relentless combat pressure. The game plan opens by deploying 1-2 CMC ramp pieces like Llanowar Elves and Utopia Sprawl to cast efficient 3-drop and 4-drop beaters such as Steel Leaf Champion and Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma. On Turn 4, casting Beorn turns allied creatures into trampling Bears while establishing a repeatable draw engine once the Bear threshold is met. By Turn 5, the deck reaches critical onset, leveraging overwhelming stat multipliers like Unnatural Growth, Overwhelming Stampede, and cost-reduced behemoths like Ghalta, Primal Hunger to push lethal trample damage across the table. While the deck boasts immense card draw and robust independent backup lines, its reliance on sustained creature combat leaves it exposed across two response cycles to mass board sweepers.
