Lynde Bracket 2 Curses by Drakuzad

Format: Commander

Commander: Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Grixis Curse control deck helmed by Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor, built around attaching a dense suite of Curses to opponents and leveraging Lynde's recursion and draw engine to grind out incremental advantage. The primary plan is to deploy Curses (over 25 in the list), let them die or sacrifice them with Claws of Gix or Despotic Scepter, then recur them via Lynde's trigger, moving them between opponents each upkeep to draw two cards and pile up drain effects. The deck wins through attrition: Curse of Thirst deals damage equal to the number of Curses attached, Curse of Fool's Wisdom punishes draws, Curse of Shaken Faith taxes noncreature spells, and Curse of Unbinding steals creatures. Backup control elements (board wipes, counterspells) and protection (Lightning Greaves, Propaganda) help stabilize until the Curse engine overwhelms the table.
