Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered 5-color tribal control build centered on Reaper King. It leverages top-tier fast mana—including Mox Diamond, Chrome Mox, Mana Vault, and Ancient Tomb—to accelerate mana development and deploy its 5-mana hybrid commander ahead of curve. Once assembled, the deck abuses Scarecrow and Changeling enter-the-battlefield triggers alongside repeatable blink engines like Aminatou, the Fateshifter, Displacer Kitten, and Ephemerate to repeatedly destroy opposing lands, commanders, and artifacts. Defensive anchors such as The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale and Moat suppress opposing creature boards, while asymmetric sweepers like Harsh Mercy and Living Death maintain control. Without direct tutors, the deck relies on potent draw engines like The One Ring, Rhystic Study, and Wheel of Fortune to dig into game-ending payoffs like kicked Rite of Replication or the Grand Architect and Pili-Pala infinite mana loop.
