Shroofus by Tadius

Format: Commander

Commander: Shroofus Sproutsire

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Shroofus puts the entire deck on one exponential curve: every point of combat damage from any Saproling is replaced by a fresh 1/1 Saproling, so each successful attack at least doubles the army. The primary plan is to resolve Shroofus early, attack with all Saprolings, and then turn the swollen board into lethal with Craterhoof Behemoth, Overrun, Beastmaster Ascension, or Triumph of the Hordes. Secondary paths use upkeep engines (Tendershoot Dryad, Mycoloth, Psychotrope Thallid, Nemata) and token doublers (Parallel Lives, Doubling Season, Second Harvest). Shroofus is the main engine and there is no hidden commander; the deck is a combat-focused token build, not a combo deck.
