Torbran by user3563528

Format: Commander

Commander: Torbran, Thane of Red Fell

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Torbran, Thane of Red Fell is the deck's damage multiplier, turning every red ping and small hasty attack into a meaningful chunk. The primary plan is aggressive mono-red burn: deploy Torbran early, chain cheap hasters, pings, and burn spells, and amp them with Guttersnipe, Fiendish Duo, and Cavalcade of Calamity. Chandra, Flame's Fury functions as a hidden commander: Chandra's Flame Wave both burns and tutors her, and her -2/-8 abilities can close games. Equipment such as Embercleave and Lightning Greaves support a secondary commander-damage/beater path, while impulse draw and flashback effects keep the deck from stalling after a wipe.
