Deck overview

Gandalf the Grey leads a lean blue-red spellslinger deck built around a simple loop: every instant or sorcery cast arms one of his four modal triggers, and the deck is engineered to cast-and copy-as many spells as possible each turn. The damage mode (3 to each opponent) is the default clock, the copy mode doubles finishers like Crackle with Power, and the tap/untap mode buys tempo. A dense core of rituals, cantrips, and magecraft engines - Archmage Emeritus, Storm-Kiln Artist, Guttersnipe - turns one big turn into a table-wide meltdown, amplified by Fiery Emancipation and Gratuitous Violence. The dedicated infinite line is Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal with mana rocks, generating infinite casts and treasure tokens via Storm-Kiln Artist to feed a stormed Brain Freeze or a huge Comet Storm. Past in Flames provides a second go-off turn from the graveyard, while a counter suite guards the kill.
