Format: Commander

Commander: Edric, Spymaster of Trest

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Edric, Spymaster of Trest is the engine of a tempo aggro deck: every unblockable or flying one-drop becomes a draw spell. The primary plan is to play a swarm of evasive creatures, profit from Edric's attack triggers to accumulate a huge hand, chain extra-turn spells, and then finish with a mass pump such as Craterhoof Behemoth, Preposterous Proportions, Beastmaster Ascension, or Biomass Mutation. A second win path uses Helm of the Host and Timestream Navigator to take an extra turn every combat once City's Blessing is online, effectively locking the game. The deck is fast but leans heavily on Edric, so protection and sequencing matter.
