Deck overview

This deck is a specialized Golgari Elfball archetype led by High Perfect Morcant that merges traditional go-wide creature ramp with asymmetric -1/-1 counter attrition and rapid poison proliferation. The strategy accelerates through 1-drop mana elves into high-yield mana dorks like Priest of Titania and Elvish Archdruid. Once Morcant is assembled alongside draw engines such as Generous Patron and Beast Whisperer, every Elf entering the battlefield forces each opponent to place -1/-1 counters on their creatures. This continually strips opponents of commanders and mana dorks. The deck seeds poison counters across all players using cards like Ichor Rats and Vraska's Fall, then uses Morcant's tap ability to proliferate those counters to lethal levels while suppressing opposing counterplay with Thorn of Amethyst, Veil of Summer, and Wrap in Vigor. It also features an infinite token and death loop via Blowfly Infestation and Flourishing Defenses.
