Deck overview

This deck is a competitive mono-blue artifact combo and stax list helmed by Arcum Dagsson. It leverages an explosive fast mana package featuring Mishra's Workshop, Mana Vault, Sol Ring, and zero-drop moxen to deploy Arcum on Turn 2. Arcum sacrifices disposable 0-to-1 CMC artifact creatures like Ornithopter and Phyrexian Walker to tutor high-impact noncreature artifacts directly into play. The primary win condition tutors Chromatic Orrery into play, which pairs with Filigree Sages to generate infinite mana and draw the entire library before closing the game with Walking Ballista. Against aggressive or combo-heavy pods, Arcum pivots into oppressive stax and attrition pieces such as Trinisphere, The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale, Portal to Phyrexia, and Ensnaring Bridge. The deck protects its game plan with format-ceiling free countermagic, redundant artifact tutors, and alternative value engines led by Urza, Lord High Artificer and The One Ring.
