Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Mardu combat-cheat strategy commanded by Kaalia of the Vast. The core objective is accelerating Kaalia into play by Turn 3 or 4, granting her haste via Lightning Greaves, Swiftfoot Boots, or Dragon Tempest, and attacking to cheat game-ending Angels, Demons, and Dragons onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. The creature suite features decisive one-shot threats such as Master of Cruelties, massive damage multipliers like Archfiend of Despair, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, and Twinflame Tyrant, and overwhelming utility engines like Razaketh, the Foulblooded and Vilis, Broker of Blood. An infinite combat backup line exists with Aurelia, the Warleader and Helm of the Host. The deck protects its proactive game plan with free spells such as Deflecting Swat and Flawless Maneuver, while asymmetric lock pieces like Blood Moon, Grand Abolisher, and Angelic Arbiter suppress opposing disruption and interaction.
