Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue tempo and control strategy centered on Wan Shi Tong, All-Knowing. The game plan leverages cards that place permanents or spells into libraries, triggering the commander to create an army of evasive 1/1 Spirit tokens that cannot be blocked by non-Spirits. The deck supports this game plan with a high density of tuck removal spells, self-tuck cantrips, and Spirit tribal payoffs. Mana rocks ensure the five-mana commander lands by Turn 5. Once assembled, the deck rapidly generates tokens while controlling opposing threats. It converts token advantage into a win using anthems such as Banner of Kinship, Supreme Phantom, and Patrician Geist, or card engines like Bident of Thassa and Curiosity Crafter. The list features strong board control, but relies heavily on its commander to generate board presence and remains vulnerable to mass creature sweepers.
