Deck overview

This Temur Dinosaur deck combines the partner commanders Owen Grady, Raptor Trainer and Blue, Loyal Raptor to turn high-power prehistoric creatures into immediate, agile combat threats. Dense mana ramp in the first two turns deploys Owen on Turn 3 and Blue on Turn 4. Owen places keyword counters such as haste, trample, menace, or reach directly onto Blue. Blue's static ability then distributes those counters to every subsequent Dinosaur that enters your battlefield. On Turn 5, massive threats like Quartzwood Crasher, Etali, Primal Storm, and Ancient Imperiosaur enter with haste and trample to launch explosive attacks without passing the turn. Continuous card draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and Curious Altisaur keep hands full of threats. While the list lacks stax effects and runs light stack interaction, its high redundancy, commander resilience, and overwhelming combat scaling allow it to close games efficiently around Turn 7.
