Winota by Giondil

Format: Commander

Commander: Winota, Joiner of Forces

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Winota, Joiner of Forces leads an aggressive Boros stax-combo deck. Cheap non-Human attackers (Ornithopter, Signal Pest, Goblin tokens) trigger Winota each combat, cheating Humans like Combat Celebrant, Village Bell-Ringer, or Thalia's Lancers into play tapped and attacking. A heavy tax package-Rule of Law, Deafening Silence, Thalia, Archon of Emeria-slows opponents while the deck assembles a Kiki-Jiki/Splinter Twin untap loop. Secondary wins come from overwhelming combat with Blade Historian, Greymond, or double-strike humans, plus card advantage from Zurzoth and Ragavan. Winota acts as a repeatable battlefield tutor and protects the humans she flips with indestructible. The deck can still execute its combos if Winota is removed.
