Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is commanded by Laughing Jasper Flint, centering on an outlaw-driven theft and aristocrats midrange strategy. The early game focuses on accelerating mana with dense two-mana artifacts, deploying early outlaws, and casting the commander on curve. Once assembled, Jasper Flint turns every outlaw into an impulse engine, exiling cards from opponents' libraries each upkeep to cast with mana of any color. Stolen creatures automatically become Mercenary outlaws, creating a self-reinforcing snowball effect that expands your available card pool while depleting opposing resources. The deck transitions into the late game by deploying heavy-hitting theft and card-advantage bombs such as Brainstealer Dragon, Etali, Primal Storm, Elder Brain, and Bolas's Citadel. A sacrifice subtheme featuring cards like Mayhem Devil, Braids, Arisen Nightmare, and Morbid Opportunist converts redundant stolen permanents into card draw and life drain. While vulnerable to board wipes and lacking infinite combos, the deck achieves victory through relentless attrition and combat.
