Deck overview

This deck is a WUBR (non-green) control and combo-cheat strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary plan leverages low-cost mana acceleration and early token generators to cast Jace on Turn 4 and immediately activate his -3 ability. This exiles a disposable token and Polymorphs into one of 22 high-impact creatures or planeswalkers in the 99. Early hits like Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Toxrill, the Corrosive, and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite strip opposing hands and sweep boards, establishing crushing asymmetric attrition. Meanwhile, game-ending threats such as Blightsteel Colossus and Archon of Cruelty close the game via combat damage around Turn 7. The deck protects its setup with free interaction like Fierce Guardianship and Flawless Maneuver while utilizing redundant cheat engines like Proteus Staff and Mass Polymorph as independent backup plans.
