Bloody Rats by Takho

Format: Commander

Commander: Vren, the Relentless

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Dimir control deck built around Vren, the Relentless. Primary plan: force enemy creatures to die (or kill them with edicts and removal) so Vren exiles them and converts each end step into a growing army of Rats. Secondary paths: Lord Skitter provides a steady Rat; Valley Floodcaller and Patchwork Banner make the swarm lethal; Attrition and edicts keep the board clear. There is no hidden commander. Vren is both engine and payoff; without him, the deck is mostly interaction with no dedicated finisher. The deck wins through combat damage, not combo, and is built to grind games long enough for the Rat horde to take over.
