Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Gruul Vehicle strategy led by Balthier and Fran. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the early turns, establishing a fleet of resilient Vehicles, and using Balthier's crewing ability to unlock an additional combat phase each turn. Because Balthier grants Vehicles vigilance and reach, attacking Vehicles remain untapped after the first combat to strike again immediately in the second combat phase. Heavy hitters like Thunderhawk Gunship, Knight Paladin, and Esika's Chariot flood the battlefield with tokens and push high damage totals. Mass animation spells like Start Your Engines, Push the Limit, and Bello, Bard of the Brambles bypass standard crewing requirements to turn every artifact into an active attacker for lethal alpha strikes. While the deck boasts immense combat pressure, it remains vulnerable to targeted removal on its pilots and lacks stack interaction.
