Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger and power-scaling engine built around Kylox, Visionary Inventor. The strategy begins by filling the graveyard with cheap instants and sorceries through cantrips, looting, and self-mill tools like Otherworldly Gaze, Thrill of Possibility, and Pieces of the Puzzle. These spells rapidly inflate the power of cost-effective beaters such as Crackling Drake, Enigma Drake, Spellheart Chimera, and Serpentine Curve. Once an 8+ power creature is established, casting Kylox for seven mana provides an immediate, explosive combat trigger thanks to its native haste. By sacrificing a massive creature on attack, Kylox exiles deep into the library and casts every revealed instant and sorcery for free. Free hits into bombs like Time Stretch, Mnemonic Deluge, Rise from the Tides, and Candlekeep Inspiration overwhelm opponents in a single turn. Outside of Kylox, the deck functions as a resilient spellslinger army generator using token creators and cost reducers.
