Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Rakdos aggressive aristocrats deck uses Gev, Scaled Scorch to grow threats and trigger potent burn engines. The early game focuses on establishing repetitive damage triggers, such as Creeping Bloodsucker, Sanctum of Stone Fangs, or cheap Lizard casts, ensuring Gev enters the battlefield alongside heavily buffed follow-up creatures. While combat and group slug damage whittle down life totals, the deck frequently converts into an infinite persist combo using Gev. Because Gev places +1/+1 counters on entering creatures after opponents lose life, persist creatures like Putrid Goblin or Murderous Redcap negate their -1/-1 counters when sacrificed to Phyrexian Altar or Goblin Bombardment, immediately ending the game.
