Deck overview

This is an Izzet Giants/Wizards tribal burn deck helmed by Aegar, the Freezing Flame. The plan is to deploy large Giants and Wizards, deal excess damage to opponents' creatures and planeswalkers to trigger Aegar's card-draw, and close the game through amplified damage and overwhelming combat. The damage-multiplier package - Toralf, God of Fury, Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, and Calamity Bearer - turns incremental pings into lethal chains, while Blasphemous Act, Hour of Devastation, and Starstorm double as both board control and, with Toralf, game-ending triggers. Combat is a strong secondary path via Boldwyr Aggressor's double strike, Sunrise Sovereign's anthem, and Warchief Giant's myriad tokens. The deck is a fair, value-oriented midrange build that grinds through card advantage and explosive burn turns rather than assembling a fast combo.
