Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Voltron and forced-combat engine commanded by Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos. Rather than attacking only on your own combat step, Alexios rotates control to each player on their upkeep, untapping, growing with a +1/+1 counter, and forcing that player to attack one of your opponents. Because you own the attached Equipment, triggers from combat damage cards like Mask of Memory and Beamtown Beatstick grant resources directly to you during opponents' turns. Protective cards such as Commander's Plate and Champion's Helm prevent opponents from removing Alexios on their turns, while damage doublers like The Sound of Drums, Fiendish Duo, and City on Fire accelerate commander damage to lethal levels across 1 to 2 table rotations. Defensive pieces like Silent Arbiter ensure Alexios cannot be swarmed by wide boards, turning the entire table into a lethal meat grinder.
